Club member Peter Godwin’s road run which was taking place on Sunday 14th of July has been POSTPONED. As soon as we have a new date we will let you know.
Blakesley Show is on the 3rd of August at Blakesley Heath Fm Maidford, Northants NN12 8HN. The club have again been invited to have a stand and all members are invited to bring their tractors to display. Tea and coffee will be on offer so come along and say hello! Club member John Sheppard is again hosting a Vintage Working two day event at Poplar Farm Blakesley in Towcester, Northamptonshire NN12 8SY on August 31st & September 1st. From veteran and vintage to classic, working horses and steam engines and tractors. There will also steam ploughing, vintage combining and live music. Bar, catering and camping will be available on site over the weekend. The NBVTC will be having a stand. A ploughing match will be held on Wednesday September 11th at Richard Cook’s Bourne End Farm in Wootton Beds MK43 9AP. The match in conjunction with the NVTEC Ouse Valley Group is a 2025 National Vintage Area Qualifier (to select Qualifiers for the 2025 British National Ploughing Championships). Club member Alan Pearce has informed us of an upcoming ploughing match on the 28th of September at Cross Waters Farm, Tring Road, Eaton Bray, Dunstable, Beds. LU6 2EE. By kind permission of P G Thorne and Partners. The land should plough very well, so some attractive ploughing should be produced. If anyone is interested please contact Alan by email: alan.pea614@btinternet.com he will ensure an entry form is sent when they are printed either by post or e-mail.
NBVTC members exhibiting their tractors at any event can now use our official NBVTC data sheet. Please print as many copies as you need!
